We are twenty minutes away, not two time zones
Most of the agencies bidding on “Park City marketing” are in Salt Lake, Lehi or somewhere with a stock photo of mountains on the homepage. They will tell you about your customers. We can drive over the hill on US-40 and be at your counter in twenty minutes, which is a different kind of conversation.
Hook’d IT Up is on Main Street in Heber City. We have worked with more than 100 businesses across Wasatch and Summit County since 2015, and Josh runs the 4,600-member Heber Valley Businesses group. When you describe your competition, we usually already know who you mean.
Park City is not a normal local market
Everything about local search here is distorted by the fact that most of the people searching do not live here. That changes what works.
Your customers are searching from a hotel room, not a couch
A visitor typing “best breakfast near me” from a rental in Deer Valley gets a completely different map pack than the same search from Old Town. Proximity dominates. That makes your Google Business Profile — categories, service areas, hours, photos — far more important than your website for capturing walk-in and same-day business. If your profile is thin, you are invisible to the person standing four blocks away.
The season decides the year
Revenue here is stacked into a handful of months, and search volume moves with it. December through March, then Sundance in January turning the whole town over in a week, then a summer wave around the festivals and trails. A profile that still shows winter hours in July, or a website that never mentions summer services, is leaving the shoulder seasons on the table.
We build the calendar around that: seasonal hours, seasonal posts, seasonal offers, and campaigns timed to when people actually book — which for lodging and services is usually weeks before they arrive.
Two towns, two search behaviours
Old Town and Main Street run on foot traffic, visitors and discovery. Kimball Junction and the Snyderville Basin run on residents, second-home owners and repeat business. They are not the same customer and they do not search the same way. A single page that says “serving Park City” speaks to neither of them well.
Second homes create year-round service demand
Property management, cleaning, snow removal, landscaping, maintenance, security checks. A large share of Summit County work comes from owners who are somewhere else most of the year and are choosing a contractor entirely from a phone screen. Reviews and a complete profile are the whole sales pitch, because nobody is meeting you first.
What we do for Park City businesses
Same services as everywhere else, aimed at the above:
- Google Business Profile management — the single highest-leverage thing in this market. Categories, service areas, seasonal hours, photos, posts, and the verification mess when Google decides to re-verify you in February.
- Local SEO — ranking for the searches that produce bookings, not vanity terms. Separate targeting for Old Town, Kimball Junction, Deer Valley, Canyons Village, Silver Summit, Jeremy Ranch, Pinebrook and Promontory.
- Review generation — visitors trust the star rating over everything, and a 4.9 from 80 reviews beats a 5.0 from 6.
- Web design — fast, mobile-first, because your visitor is on hotel wifi with one bar and no patience.
- App development — ordering and loyalty apps for restaurants tired of handing a third of every ticket to a delivery marketplace.
- AI voice and chat — something that answers at 9pm on a Saturday in February, which is exactly when people book.

What it costs
The same as it costs anyone else. Websites from $500, Google Business Profile management from $697 a month, review management from $197, AI receptionist from $497. Profile verification is $299 and if we cannot verify you, you do not pay. Full pricing is on the site because we would rather you know before the call.
We do not charge a Park City premium. We have been asked.

Thirty minutes, no pitch deck, no contract. We will look at your Google Business Profile live on the call and tell you what is actually costing you calls. If the honest answer is that you do not need us yet, that is what we will say — we have talked plenty of people out of a website they did not need.
